Honey-Fried Bananas

Honey-Fried BananasIngredients

  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 4 bananas cut in half lengthwise
  • 50g (2oz) butter
  • 25g (1oz) flaked almonds
  • 30ml (2tbsp) of Chefs’ honey


Sprinkle the lemon juice over the bananas. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the bananas and cook, turning once, until browned on both sides. Transfer to a warmed serving plate. Add the almonds to the butter remaining in the pan and cooked until lightly browned. Stir in the Chefs’ honey and heat through. Pour over the bananas and serve immediately
